MANUFACTURED ENEMY

Posted in: Quotes & Poetry by Pamela on November 11, 2008

Manufactured Enemy
We are all born to this place
The same
Then we separate
Then our world falls apart
‘Playing’ turns to hate
And you and I
Become fearful of one another
Clans do gather
And fingers begin to point
I am puzzled at this kind of fate
My heart does not understand
This hate.

Feelings of such wonderment and awe
Wanting to envelope the energy
Wrap it in my arms
And take to the skies
And away we would all fly.
Leaving behind
All senses
All unkindness and mindless chatter
All our doing though, time to unravel
Knowing nothing else matters
But the peace and immortalness
Of our lives

I do not see
Colour, cloth, skin or belief
Of a manufactured enemy.

No judgement here
All I desire
Is the moment
When forever becomes
A timeless space
Lay down your sword
Healing is what you will gain.

For I ask,
What have I done to thee?
Why can’t you live with me?
A manufactured enemy?

‘Letting go’ is not so trite a phrase
There is always a way
My one among many a’ mate.
Walk with me
My manufactured Enemy
Into the open seas….
And fly endlessly….

Forgiveness
Released me
From the fallen heart
Attempting to tear me apart
My fate had begun
As I broke the air with a thought
I ran away with myself
And carried her higher
So she could see
The manufactured enemy

And how simple it is
To heal the world’s pain
To heal the worlds shame
To live in Peace
For we are inherently
Forever Free.

And nothing
Can ever take that away
From me.
