I have heard enough of the lies, the deceipts, the broken treaties
The passing of bills through congressional meetings
That are merely smoke screens
To make people believe the men in suits are doing something?
When behind the scenes they mean nothing
The bullets being fired. Do I need to count anymore?
The babies dying, the dolphins and whales washing upon our shores
My breath’ren … how much more?
It is time to stand down and put an end to war.

It all begins at home, wherever that is, to spread peace
Across all lands and all seas
From State to Province in every country
It is time to stand down to protect all of life easily
For clean waters, clean air, clean soil and clean living
The fact that I am even having to write this is mind blowing?
For this should be naturally occurring. It is our right because we are breathing
The power is within each and every one of us to change our minds.
And when one does, change ‘ones’ mind that is …
The movie comes to an end, we walk out together cradling bliss
It is the right of all living things, it is our freedom, it is our awakening.
Enough is enough. May it now be unleashed.

I feel something growing inside of me
As I peel away the onions of programming
The knots in the rope of my life are untying
The chains at my feet are unbinding
I am becoming more secure with sense of self
As I let go of all that went behind me
Isn’t “life” what we are here to achieve?
It’s what you make of it and all you believe.
