THROUGH AND THROUGH

Posted in: Poetry by Pamela on June 16, 2009

Through the tough stuff that life gives us, the pains, hurts and misunderstandings
With a patient heart and something else beyond that I cannot touch but feel
With love and the highest of intentions for good I always knew …
Peace will pave its way through.

THE JOY OF INFINITY

Posted in: Poetry by Pamela on May 28, 2009

There is a place I long to be
Like some distant memory haunting me
A void of nothing, yet, everything
Where only kindness matters
In the joy of infinity

Pinky the rare albino dolphin has been spotted in Lake Calcasieu in Louisiana, USA
Charter boat captain Erik Rue, 42, photographed the animal which is actually an albino.

He said:
“I just happened to see a little pod of dolphins, and I noticed one that was a little lighter.”
“I had never seen anything like it. It’s the same color throughout the whole body
And it looks like it just came out of a paint booth.”

“The dolphin appears to be healthy and normal other than its coloration,
Which is quite beautiful and stunningly pink.”

FLYING WITH WINGS UNSEEN

In this captured moment of stillness … Love is Simple and Peace is Easy
I hope you feel what I feel when the clock stops ticking.

ME IS THEE

Posted in: Poetry by Pamela on May 14, 2009

All my questions teach as I speak
To myself more than anything
And if another hears and remembers that me is thee
Our understanding will be fruitful for many.

STILL LOVING YOU

Posted in: Poetry by Pamela on May 13, 2009

There is nothing I can do about what I have done in the past
Except take what I have learned and change my mind
To ask for forgiveness and walk a different path.
If that is not enough then this is okay too
For I will walk away still loving you.

NO ANSWERS TO BE HAD

There are no answers to be had
For when life lives in its pureness
There are no questions to be asked.

LOVE IS A PROMISE

Posted in: Poetry by Pamela on

Love is a promise, Love is a souvenir
Once given never forgotten, Never let it disappear

John Lennon

This quote by John passed my way today And I find it sort of funny
Because of new friends I meet And to them what I say.
Proves, in my view, we are all tapped into the Universal Library
Reading the same book … on the same page.

Once met, never forgot, forever friends (with a pinky promise)

IT IS NEVER TOO LATE

Posted in: Poetry by Pamela on April 28, 2009

The most important thing we can do is not to regret.
It is what we do with what we realize NOW.
Nothing is ever past too late to do something about.

TASTING THE FORBIDDEN

Posted in: Poetry by Pamela on April 24, 2009

People become enamored and get pulled into the glamour
Their innocently, unknowingly thirsty desires catches their eyes
For a little taste of what has been hidden
That which has seduced and been forbidden
Now rising to the surface be careful of the lure to pull you in.
To the lair of the beast that resides within.

UNTYING KNOTS

Posted in: Poetry by Pamela on

Free your mind and remove fear.
Most of all look in the mirror.
Easier said than done sometimes I know.
But when you untie one knot, the rest seem to untie themselves.

IT IS TIME TO UNLEASH

Posted in: Poetry by Pamela on April 19, 2009

I have heard enough of the lies, the deceipts, the broken treaties
The passing of bills through congressional meetings
That are merely smoke screens
To make people believe the men in suits are doing something?
When behind the scenes they mean nothing
The bullets being fired. Do I need to count anymore?
The babies dying, the dolphins and whales washing upon our shores
My breath’ren … how much more?
It is time to stand down and put an end to war.

It all begins at home, wherever that is, to spread peace
Across all lands and all seas
From State to Province in every country
It is time to stand down to protect all of life easily
For clean waters, clean air, clean soil and clean living
The fact that I am even having to write this is mind blowing?
For this should be naturally occurring. It is our right because we are breathing
The power is within each and every one of us to change our minds.
And when one does, change ‘ones’ mind that is …
The movie comes to an end, we walk out together cradling bliss
It is the right of all living things, it is our freedom, it is our awakening.
Enough is enough. May it now be unleashed.

“Someday they will give a war and nobody will come.” Carl Sandburg (1878-1967)
May that day be today!

This is for my father, Carl Sydney Richards (Tango), who loves to fly.

Can anyone imagine what it would be like if the skies of America were filled with pilots
Flying united in peaceful non-compliance
To put an end to war by refusing to go to battle no more?
I can. It is time to STAND DOWN.

The military term “Stand Down” describes the movement of soldiers in combat
To a safe place for rest and recovery.

I think this world needs a rest don’t you?
I love you daddy.

EVERY “ONE”

Posted in: Poetry by Pamela on April 10, 2009

I learned along the way and hear many people say …
That we are all ONE
As I continue to push for truth in life
I see something is not right
When I see glee in some ONE for committing evil acts of war
Or warring of any kind
At this moment in time, I have changed my mind
We may all come from ONE
And am open for being wrong at any time
The heartless of some
Clearly tells me
I am not a part of every ONE.

THE GIFT OF LOVE

Posted in: Poetry by Pamela on April 06, 2009

Everyone is at a different point on the path of life.
A different rung on the ladder or chapter in a book
A different floor on an elevator or sitting in a different corner of the room
In all cases everyone seeing things from a different view.

Life is so full of distractions, diversions, thought projections,
secrecy and keeping the mind in constant confusion.
Once one has ‘got it’ and says ‘enough is enough’,
There is no need to keep beating oneself up.
Our greatest gift is the gift of love
Change direction and turn the tide
It is happening already, one mind at a time.

ROCK BRIDGES

Posted in: Poetry by Pamela on April 05, 2009

“If you know anyone who seems as hard as a rock
Impossible to get through to and never seems to listen
With love and patience be calm, for someone has to begin
To help change rock walls ~ into rock bridges.”

MAYBE IT’S JUST ME

Posted in: Poetry by Pamela on April 01, 2009

I wish a painting could manifest as fast as the visions cross my mind.
My thoughts would be the brushes, and my visions carry the pallet of colour
I dunno? Maybe it’s just me?
No matter though, in the end it would fall on the canvas of life
Turning myself inside out, painting a world I remember so free
And may the wise owl look me in the eye, as I do he.
Laughter melting our words as we transcend thought.
You know this thing called love and peace? It really is that easy.
I dunno? Maybe it’s just me?

THE CLEARING

Posted in: Poetry by Pamela on March 31, 2009

It was only yesterday morning I saw a clearing in my mind
I saw a forest path that had no end
It showed me an easy time and it was then I knew
Each and every one of us can choose
Here and now
To walk into forever without fear.
Isn’t it time to take what we’ve learned
To walk in peace, it is paved and clear.
It is not something to look for, it is right here.

YOUR ONE AND ONLY THOUGHT

Posted in: Poetry by Pamela on March 29, 2009

Everything one ‘does’ one ‘thinks’ about doing
Everything is ‘thought’ created
Cleanse your mind, remove fear.
Nothing exists where your mind is not.
Turn yourself inside out.
Choose what you desire, may the rest be forgot.
And may love be your one and only thought.
